Faulty ECU on SEAT Leon - do I need to scrap the car?
I have a 2001 SEAT Leon TDI. The computer unit is bust ECU?). The central locking lights keep going on and off and unfortunately I did not take it to the garage sooner so the battery ran down.
I've been told the computer would be costly to fix and the garage has put in a new battery and everything works except the electric windows, and they suggest a replacement car. What should I do?

The windows ECU is an entirely separate unit situated inside the driver's door. Could be that all you need to do is get that replaced.
