Buying a used car - Renault or SEAT?
I do 10,000 miles per annum, mostly short journeys mixed with some long motorway runs. I am considering a used Renault Megane or SEAT Leon, spending up to £12,000.
Do you advise petrol or diesel for this mileage level and type of journey? And which do you think a better choice, Renault or SEAT?

Petrol. Though a Megane 1.6DCI 130 should be okay if you can find one for the money. Avoid SEAT 1.6TDIs.
