Would you recommend the Ford Wildtrack as a family car?

I am considering buying a 2009 Ford pick-up, double cab, Wildtrack 3.0 TDCI 4WD. It has 30,646 miles and is £11,991 plus VAT. It will effectively be the family car as I need the load space to cater for my two Irish wolfhounds. Is this a good buy? And is there anything I should look for or be aware of?

The old Ranger and BT50 (same thing) are not the best pick-ups, but definitely improved over the years. These are probably the most relevant tests. They are of Mazda BT50, but these are the same thing as a Ranger, made in the same Thai factory:
