How can I prevent my foot slipping in my Honda automatic?

I have driven my Honda automatic since new in 1997 and covered 72,000 trouble and accident-free miles. Just recently, when moving the car, my right foot accidently slipped onto the accelerator and the car shot forward at a terrific speed into a parked car causing damage, mainly to my car. Having not had this happen before I am concerned it could affect my confidence when I next drive. I would appreciate your advice

Learn to left foot brake. Then you always have instant control over your car and such things as you described can never happen.
