Will buying a pre-registered car affect its resale value in years to come?
I am thinking of purchasing a pre-registered ‘new car’ from New Car Discount and would like your opinion as to the reliability of this company. They assure me, although the car I would buy would be essentially secondhand, this would in no way affect the eventual resale value when I came to sell it. I argued that it would as it would be "owned" by two previous owners, as viewed by the potential next owners. New-Car-Discount insists this would not affect the resale value. I would be grateful for your comments.

It won't affect the resale price by much in years to come. The problem is the period you have possession of the car when you are not the registered keeper. This may have insurance implications and will also mean that any ANPR tickets for speeding, traffic light offences, bus lane offences or parking will not come directly to you.

Should I buy a pre-registered car (66 plate) and save £600 or wait till 1 March 2017 for new car/new plate?
We are taking delivery of a new car shortly. From a resale point of view is it better to register it in December or to wait until January.
My husband ordered a new car for me in May for delivery near my birthday (end of June). I'm now informed that it will be in this country for 4 August, which would mean we would probably get it in mid-August....
