Have there been any problems with the Mercedes-Benz A180 CVT transmission?
Having just paid a deposit on a 2010 Mercedes-Benz A180 automatic, I'd appreciate knowing whether I made a good choice or not? I'd rather lose the deposit than suffer more heavily again, so please advise before I pay the balance.

Yes, there have been a few problems with the CVT in both the A-Class and B-Class: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/mercedes-benz/a-clas...d and www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/mercedes-benz/b-clas...d

Much better execution of original A-Class concept. Feels far higher quality, especially inside. Easy to park.
