Why are new cars no longer supplied with spare wheels?
Could you through the medium of your letters page advise all 2013 Honda Civic owners that certain models are not supplied with a toolkit or jack and have to rely on the pressurised tyre repair kit supplied?Since the introduction of this kit I have always carried a space saver wheel, mainly because I do not trust the kit to fix a split tyre. I am more annoyed that when I transferred my space saver to my new car no mention was made about the toolkit and it was only whilst preparing the car for a European journey that I noticed it was missing.

This is in fact the case with most cars now.
