Would you recommend the Ford Fiesta EcoBoost to replace our Citroen C2?

Two years ago we replaced our small car in haste with a 1.4 VTR Citroen C2, which we find disappointing in both performance and economy. We are now looking to replace and have shortlisted a 208 1.4 VTI, a DS3 1.2 VTI and an Escort EcoBoost 125. On paper the Ford looks to be way ahead of the others - any comments or thoughts please?
