Would you recommend Terraclean performance tuning for my BMW 118d?

I am considering trying Terraclean performance tuning on my BMW 118d, in the hope of improving emissions and improving performance by removing engine carbon deposits. Do you know if such a treatment is effective? The company web site is: www.terraclean.co.uk

I've had mixed reports so am not yet prepared to recommend it. But in most engines, using a good fuel such as Shell V-Power Nitro Plus stops carbon forming in the first place.
