Is 100,000 miles high for a Range Rover 3.0-litre diesel?

What is the average lifetime of a Range Rover 3.0 diesel in mileage? Would it be worth buying 1 with 100,000miles on the clock or would a 4.0 petrol be more suitable with an lpg conversion?
