BMW 120d - does it have timing chain issues?

I'm looking to buy a brand new BMW 120d. Can you tell me if the timing chain is still a problem on this engine, or have they solved the problem?

No problems as long as you have the oil and filter changes at least every 12 months or every 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. Do not take out a BMW service contract because it does not cover this.
