BMW E90 - what are the most common faults?

I have a 2008 BMW 320M convertible that I have had from new. The car has been faultless (apart from the usual issues with the 19-inch alloys and run flat tyres).

The vehicle has a full BMW service history and I plan to keep it for another three years. Are there any big expense issues that might arise in that time?

See the E93 entry in www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar, and also the E90 - E92 entries for a fuller picture. If keeping the car it would be wise to switch to 16-inch or 17-inch wheels and put more rubber between the rims and the road. (Make sure the 16s will fit around the front brakes.)
