Best used 4x4?

I've decided that my next vehicle will be a 4x4. I need it for everyday driving with mainly short journeys, therefore, I think it should have a petrol engine, preferably two or three litre. (fuel consumption is not a particular concern).

I have around £19,000 to spend and prefer to buy a high spec model, so a used vehicle would suit my budget best. What do you recommend I buy?

Toyota RAV-4 2.0i Valvematic Multidrive S best. Honda CR-V 2.0i auto a bit slow, sometimes irritatingly, and frequently changes gear. Tiguan can have engine and DSG auto issues.
