Can I use Castrol 5 w30 A3 B4 in my old Vauxhall Vectra ?

Maybe you noticed Tesco's offer on Castrol oils? I picked up the 5w-30 A3/B4 for my 1999 model Petrol Vauxhall Vectra (60,000 miles), for which I used all the time Vauxhall oil 10w40 A3/B3 because I thought it will be more synthetic and convenient for my driving pattern, which is daily several short trips in-town. Any thoughts?

Sounds interesting. It's worth posting this in the forum and sharing your thoughts with our other users. There are plenty of people with Vectras who may offer some suggestions about what oil they use. If you'd like to do that follow this link: honestjohn.co.uk/forum/
