Nissan Patrol heater has stopped working

The radiator on my 2002 Nissan Patrol was leaking, so I put radiator weld into it. However, a few months later, the heater stopped blowing warm air, could this be a faulty thermostat?

The radweld could have blocked something such as the valve to the heater matrix.
