What's the best used 4x4 for £15,000?
I am considering trading in my 2007 Land Rover Freelander that has done 105,000 miles. I believe the car is worth £5000 and plan to add an aditional £10,000 to buy a used car. Which do you recommend for £15,000:
- Three year old Freelander
- Two year old Honda CR-V
-Six month of Nissan Qashqai
I currently use the Freelander to get up and down a steep hill in snow and ice near my home.

For £15k you won't get a current shape CR-V or Qashqai. You will get a previous shape CR-V, and that is likely to be more reliable than a Freelander.
