Need a replacement for Rover 75

I have to replace my Rover 75. Ideally, I'd like a car with a similar level of comfort to my Rover (leather seats, air con) with similar handling and economy. I have a maximum budget of £5000.

Are there likely to be any used petrol cars (preferably no more than five years old and of average mileage) which match my requirements?

Ford Mondeo 2.0i petrol model on 16-inch wheels with 205/55 R16 tyres. Not as 'posh', but a better car.
