SEAT Ibiza 1.2 TSI - is it suitable for motorway driving?
I am thinking of buying a new SEAT Ibiza but am worried the 1.2 TSI (105) engine will not be able to cope on the motorway. Would the high miles and speed cause more wear to a small engine?

Strain and wear on the motorway is caused more by gearing than engine capacity and these engines are geared sufficiently high for this not to be a problem. They;re between 23.5 and 28mph per 1,000rpm in top depending on whether manual or DSG.
