Need a large car - what you do recommend?
I want to buy a new car and have narrowed my shortlist to the Volkswagen Passat 1.6TDI Exec Estate, Ford Mondeo 1.6 TDCI Graphite Hatch and the Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 diesel TechLine Estate. I spend most my life on motorways for work and then have to transport two bikes and camping gear for some weekend fun. Is the spec of the Passat enough to make up for the lack of pace?

No. And a new Passat is very close to launch. So is a new Mondeo. And the Insigia is more style than space.
