High performance 4x4s - What's best?

It's time to change my eight year old Subaru Forester turbo. All I want is a small 4x4 SUV with manual gearbox and petrol engine. Like my present car, it should do 0-60 in under six seconds, but such cars no longer seem to exist. Can you make any suggestions please? I have £32,000 to spend.

A Macan 3.6 Turbo is obviously over budget. A used Audi RS3 2.5 or TTRS 2.5 or Golf R isn't.
