Can you recommend a family friendly 4x4?

My wife and I are about to buy a new/nearly new car. We have two young children of school age and we live out in the country, so four-wheel drive is essential as my wife will spend a great deal of time ferrying the kids about over the coming years (est 10-12k miles per year).

We’d like a car with a nice interior (leather seats, sat nav, etc) and my wife would prefer an automatic. We have owned an old petrol Honda CRV (2004) for the last six years as a second car and it' has been great - in particular we love the space, the reliability, the low maintenance costs and the high up driving position. What cars would you recommend that fit our criteria?

For comfort, a Honda CR-V 2.2iDTEC auto. Otherwise a Mazda CX-5 150D Skyactiv SE-L nav 4WD auto, or a Nissan Qashqai 1.6DCI 130 4WD auto.
