Engine warning light on MINI Cooper

The yellow engine light came on this morning while I was driving my 2007 MINI Cooper. I am a bit concerned as I bought the car just five months ago and it had a full Service history and recent MoT.

The dealer warranty was only three months and last week I was forced to replace the back brakes at a cost of £230. Is this going to be a costly affair? What could be wrong?

These are not reliable cars and they need far more frequent oil changes than the service indicator may tell you. Get it to a MINI specialist. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/mini/cooper-and-s-r5...d
