Can I sue a dealer over vehicle tax?
I have recently bought a used Audi TT from a small dealer. Included in the details of the sale was 12 months’ tax. However, when I got the car home, I discovered the tax disc had been removed. I contacted the seller and he said he needed it to take a cherished plate off the car. I checked this with the DVLA and learnt that he did not need it to put plate on retention.
I've asked for the money to be paid to me, but he has ignored my request and will not answer his phone. Can I take legal action over this?

Use www.moneyclaim.gov.uk to sue him for the amount he owes you.
