Going to Europe for six months- what's the best insurance option?
I am going to be working in France for six months and want to take a car with me, which I am yet to buy. However, I am confused as to what to do regarding insurance.
Do any UK companies provide European insurance for that length of time or am I better off getting temporary insurance while in France?

Very confusing. Few UK insurers are helpful over this, so you need to go to a specialist insurance broker (I mean go to one, don't try to get the insurance online). See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/useful-websites/tax-insurance.../
