Seeing in your column the many horror stories about car hire abroad felt it only fair to recount our recent experience at Malaga Airport.

We had booked a car via multi choice web site which came up with best deal through Atesa which we found to be part of Enterprise rent-a-car when collecting at Malaga. I have to say that the experience was first class in terms of service and courtesy of all staff involved. No high pressure attempt to sell additional Insurance cover they were perfectly happy with the Annual Policy I hold. Advised to go for Full - Full fuel option as "our charge for fuel is way too expensive". What an honest refreshing change.
Reception desk staff, hand over staff courteous and efficient wishing us an enjoyable stay in Spain. Again on return courteous and efficient enquiring if we had enjoyed our stay and that all was well with the car and service provided which it most certainly had been.

At time of collection car was clean inside and out and the screen washer was also full. Not in my experience a usual occurrence.
