What are the best tyres for a Mk1 Audi TT?

Which tyres would you recommend for a 2001 Audi TT Roadster on 17-inch wheels? Would you consider all season tyres as an option? My annual mileage is less than 5000.

All season tyres are probably not speed rated for this car. I'd go for soft compound Yokahamas.
