Rusty Ford C-Max - should I have any redress?

I bought a 2006 Ford focus C-MAX from a main dealer in 2007. In 2008, rust bubbles appeared under the paintwork and the dealer sent me to its paint shop, who found out by measuring the paint thickness that the rear near side wing had been replaced and warranty is void. I complained to the sales manager and he agreed to pay for the repair.

Now, more rust bubbles have again appeared, the sales manager blames the body department the body department says it never intended to do it up to warranty standards as it was not classed as warranty. Do I have any redress?

No because it is more than 6 years since you bought the car and the car is now 8 years old.
