Buying a new B-Class - petrol or diesel?
We have had a Mercedes-Benz A-Class from new in 2006 - a CDI 180 auto which has been faultless. We now want to replace it with a slightly bigger but still premium car and are keen on the new B-Class.
However, we do a lot of short trips as well as some motorways. Would a diesel be suitable for this mixture or a petrol? We particularly like the 220 4matic if you have a view on that.

I'd agree with your choice of B220 4-Matic. That's a petrol engine, not a diesel.
