New Car Fuel Economy - will it ever improve?
I have a 2014 Skoda Superb Estate 2.0 TDI CR 170PS DSG, which I took delivery of in September 2014. Since then I have clocked up over 7000 miles and have averaged brim to brim 41mpg (worst 38 and best 44).
However, the strange thing is that economy has not IMPROVED as the miles have increased - unlike all new vehicles I have owned prior to this. I consider myself an economic driver and I notice the Real MPG figure for my car is currently 47.9mpg! Am I likely to see this figure improve?

Probably because it's winter, temperatures are colder, and the car will be running on enriched mixture for longer.
