Need a small and comfortable car - what do you suggest?
My wife has recently had a double hip replacement, and now finds her 2006 Vauxhall Corsa uncomfortable on longish journeys. I want replace it with something that has a higher entry and more upright driving position. We are considering the Panda Trekking, is this a good choice (we don't want diesel)? Are there petrol engine options to the Trekking? Are there any other cars we should be considering?

A Fiat Panda TwinAir Trekking is a brilliant car if you need some extra ability in mud and snow, but may not be the most appropriate for your wife. I'd take a look at the recently discontinued Suzuki Splash and Vauxhall Agila which are both small and tall with upright seats. Alternatively a Hyundai i10 or a KIA Picanto.

Surprisingly spacious small five-door city car. Makes best sense with 1.0 petrol engine. Much better than old Agila. Rebadged version of Suzuki Splash.
Excellent small car for the money. High quality and neatly designed interior. Great to drive and cheap to run.
New Panda has a softer shape and less boxy look. 1.2-litre or TwinAir engines. More upmarket interior. Good headroom. Softer suspension than previous Panda.
