Squeaky clutch on Hyundai i10

There is a squeaking noise coming from the clutch on my Hyundai i10. It happens on and off when driving or sitting in neutral. I've found that touching the clutch pedal, which has a small amount of loose play, stops the noise temporarily.

The dealership say there's nothing physically wrong. Is this an early sign of the clutch wearing out or anything else you can suggest? I'm on 73,000 miles and it's not slipping or showing any other signs of wear.

The clutch is a weak point of the i10 so at 73,000 miles you've done well. The squeaking will be the release bearing. I'd just keep going until you have to change the clutch and release bearing.
