Can I reject my used car after 9 months?
Nine months ago I bought a 14 month old Jaguar XF with 7000 miles on the clock. Since buying the car, it has spent 10 weeks with the dealer, with a number of faults. I have told the dealer in writing on more than one occasion that I want to reject the car, but they just ignore me and say they will get it fixed.
Everything is supposed to be fine now but there are still ongoing faults and they have finally agreed to look for an alternative vehicle for me after I got the manufacturer involved, but they want to charge me to change. Am I entitled to reject the car and demand a full refund?

You're now outside the six months Sale of Goods limit, and also, presumably, outside the £10,000 Small Claims Track County Court limit. You have a county court case, but unless the dealer gives in, you could spend £10,000 - £15,000 in legal and court fees and still not win, which is what happened to another reader who bought a bad Jag.
