Buying a used CLK - are they more trouble than they're worth?
My old Rover 25 has terminally broken. I have been offered a Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Avant Garde automatic petrol by a family member for £4000. The car might be 2012 or 2002 (I'm not sure) but has 84,000 miles on the clock and a full service history. It has been owned by the family member from new.
If I purchase such a car, am I potentially looking at trouble regarding service and running costs?

if it's a 2012, no problem. Bargain of the Century. If it's a 2002, expect trouble, and rust.
