Buying a used hot hatch - Golf GT or Leon FR?
I have owned a Golf GTI for the past 15 years and have found it lively, providing a comfortable ride on 16-inch wheels. I am now about to change, but am torn between a one year old Golf GT or a similar aged SEAT Leon FR. Can you tell me if these cars on 17-inch wheels would return a harder ride?

These new GT and FR models have independent rear suspension that vastly improves the ride quality over a twist beam axle. So yes, the ride is fine on 17-wheels.
