Smaller cars with decent legroom when the front seat is all the way back - what's out there?
What can we replace our Audi A1 with that will give the kids more rear legroom ? I'm 6'4" so I always have the front seat all the way back. Looked at an Audi A3 and Volvo V40 but the rear legroom doesn't seem any better. We don't want to go as large as a Mondeo as we have a large 4x4 as second car. Wondering about a BMW 3 series, or maybe a Honda Civic ?

Almost anything has better rear legroom than an A1 driven by a tall driver. But the specific answer is a Skoda Rapid Spaceback that has particularly good rear legroom for this class of car and is no wider than an A1 or Polo: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/skoda/skoda-rapid-.../ Best bought manual with the 1.2TSI 90, 105 or 110.
