Which four-wheel drive?

I have test driven a Land Rover Discovery Sport, Audi Q5 and Volkswagen Touareg. Of these cars and can't decide which to go for if any. Could you advise? I don't want to drive off road but do live in the middle of nowhere and when the weather is bad the only way onto a main road is up a very steep hill.

The Disco Sport has been launched too early, before it can get the new JLR Ingenium 2.0 litre diesel engines. So hold off from one of them until the summer. Q5s and Touaregs get the same VAG V6 TDI engine, which is nice, but both are now quite old models. A Porsche Macan would be better, if you can get hold of one, even though it's based on the Q5.
