When to replace a diesel car

I have a 2012 VW CC diesel 140bhp diesel and return 51mpg. Most of my mileage is on motorways and fast A roads. I do approx. 18k annually and my current mileage is 44k. Should change the car now and avoid likely DPF,DMF issues or given my mileage retain the car for a few more years.

I'd continue to run it for another year, which will take it to 62k miles and is about the time it will need a new timing belt and waterpump. Given your type of driving you should not have DPF trouble in that period. So I'd swap out after another year.
