Which is the better used buy - Civic or Jazz?
I have decided to sell my beloved Volvo S60 and get a smaller, more economical car. Could you help me to choose between Honda Jazz 2010 and the Honda Civic 2006?
I really like the practicality and reliability of both cars, but it seems to me that there isn't much difference between two cars in economy. Or am I wrong?

I hope you don't want an automatic. Because from 2009 to 2011 the Jazz came with an unsatisfactory automated manual transmission and did not get its CVT-7 back until February 2011. The Civic had the unsatisfactory automated manual from 2006 to 2009, then from February 2009 got a proper five-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The Civic is, of course, a bigger car than the Jazz. I found the manual Civic 1.8iVTEC surprisingly economical and got 45mpg out of it. Real Mpg shows an average of 40mpg for that car and 48mpg for the manual Jazz 1.4 iVTEC.
