Was someone's car towed away for blocking their own driveway?

I was told recently that you reported an incident where someone's car was towed away for blocking off their own driveway. Is this so or was someone winding me up?

True. The tow away crew don't necessarily check if the car is registered to the address with the blocked entrance.
