Does the Fiesta suffer from regular clutch failure?
I am really worried about clutch on my Ford Fiesta, having read about repeated failures on the Focus 1.0 EcoBoost. My clutch and some kind of cylinder needed replacing after just a few thousand miles. Luckily, it was paid under warranty.
The Focus story sounds the same. Are the Focus parts the same as those on the Fiesta? Might my clutch fail again soon?

This is the thing. A Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost five-speed does not have a dual mass flywheel and a Focus 1.0 EcoBoost six-speed does. Nevertheless, there have been a lot of Focus and Fiesta clutch slave cylinder failures and whenever the replaced slave cylinder is not returned to the customer along with the other clutch parts and the flywheel.
