What's the best method for storing winter tyres?
I know it's Spring but I'm looking ahead to Winter 2015 and want to take advantage of cheap winter tyres via online retailers.
I have 4x4 steel rims ready to go, but if I do buy now what's the best way to store the wheels and tyres? Separately until needed then get fitted or get them fitted now and store fitted and ready?

Fit them to the rims and store them in a stack, off the ground, away from any damp and in the dark. But there are some new winter/all season tyres on the way. Michelin CrossClimate are just about here and Nokian Weatherproof will be arriving in the autumn. Not necessarily a great idea to buy now unless the discounts are just too fantastic to pass up.
