Is this ex-demo Citroen C5 a good purchase?
I'm looking to replace my petrol car with a diesel and I quite like the Citroen C5. I've found an Oct 2007 plate 1.6HDi VTR+ saloon with 1500 miles for sale by a Citroen main dealer, as part of the Approved Used scheme, for £10,995. It has all the available options fitted, as it was used by Citroen to promote the launch of the new C5 in the UK, and it did some demo work for the motor trade, the garage tells me.
Is this a good find, as it's like new at half the price (the garage assures me it is in mint condition, as I would expect)? Or is the low mileage a problem? It has one previous keeper, Citroen UK, since new. It also says on the V5C that date of registration was Oct 07 but date of first registration in the UK was Oct 09. The garage is willing to put it in writing that it is not an import but the difference in dates confuses me - does it make any sense to you?

The UK launch was March 2008, so could have been registered 2008/57, but 2007/57 seems unlikely.
