How do I haggle for the best deal?

What's the best way to haggle for a deal at a car dealership? Realistically how much will they take off the price of a new car?

Depends on the dealer and on the car. For something about to go out of production, like an F10 5-Series you might get £8000 off. For something everyone wants you might have to pay a premium over the list price to get it. For an average sort of car, a broker such as www.drivethedeal.com can get you 10% - 20% off.
