Buying a used Peugeot 2008 - which model is best?

My wife is looking to buy a used Peugeot 2008 (currently has a 207). She wants a higher driving position, decent performance and comfort. Which model would suit her needs?

Best to wait until the 2008 gets the 1.2 Puretech 110 and 130 engines.
