Major electrical issues with Fiat 500

I have had a Fiat 500 1.4 lounge from new. Now experiencing major electrical problems. Warning messages on dash, oil light on, headlight light on. Tailgate light permanently on. Often engine cuts out while driving.

Fiat ran diagnostics which were inconclusive and now want the vehicle in their workshop for two days to investigate further. I am concerned that costs might escalate with no apparent resolution. Any suggestions on what might be causing this problem?

One fault on the same can bus power source will be causing all of the others. Probably a partially severed cable into the hatchback lid.
