What would you consider is a 'high mileage' car?
What would you consider as high mileage in a car? Are some marques likely to be capable of higher mileages than others?

Depends how old it is. But by 100k miles some things will inevitably have suffered wear, such as wheel bearings, transmission bearings, etc. as well as brake pads, brake discs, clutches, DMFs, cat converters, DPFs, timing belts, turbos, EGRs, etc. The most solid feeling car I drove recently was a W203 Mercedes C200CDI Classic SE Manual that felt like it could do 500,000 miles in 5 years.
