Honda 2.2 i-CDTi timing chain

I drive a 54-plate Honda Accord 2.2 diesel, which has covered 168,000 miles but now has a very rattly timing chain - apparently this is a known problem on diesel Accord, and Honda offered a free or subsidised replacement if issues showed up under 125k. I'm now thinking of replacing the car with a Civic, around 08-10 model year. Do you know if the same timing chain issue affected Civic 2.2 diesels?

It's the same engine. Obviously 5,000 mile oil changes will keep the engine cleaner and extend the life of the chain, but with standard 10k - 15k mile oil changes 168k miles is a reasonable life for a timing chain and more than twice the average life of a timing belt. Yes, the later Civic 2.2 i-CDTI and current shape 2.2 i-DTEC had the same engine, but the 1.6 i-DTEC is much more economical and the 1.8 i-VTEC is not far off the 2.2 i-CDTI. I got 48.2mpg out of one of them.
