Diesel or petrol?
I am thinking of buying a new 2015 Superb but am undecided whether to go petrol or stick to the diesel. My annual mileage has now dropped to about 7500 with trips of 4-5 miles and a once a week trip of about 20 miles return plus longer trips for holidays and weekends away. I like the way the diesel drives and the remarkable economy but worry about DPF's and DMF's. Would you advise going for petrol in preference to diesel in these circumstances? Does the new Skoda use adblue and would it help with short journeys if it did?

Go petrol 1.4 TSI 150 ACT. If you keep the car for 6 years you will probably suffer high repair costs in years 3 - 6 with the diesel, and the 1.4 TSI 150 ACT is much nicer to drive anyway.
