Best compact executive car?

I am looking to change my company car. I have narrowed my choice to a Lexus IS 300h Executive and Mercedes C 220d Sport. Which would you recommend? Approx mileage per annum 20k.

Depends where most of your mileage will be. If in cities, then the lower emission Lexus. If mostly motorway, then the C 220 CDI will probably prove to be the more economical. You've missed off the Jaguar XE 2.0d Ingenium 180 auto which I'd far rather have than either.
