I fixed my Ford Mondeo's electrical problem with a recharged battery.
Until I jump-started my Ford Mondeo diesel to get the battery up to performance, all sorts of crazy things happened on the dash board. Once fixed with a fully recharged battery, all the faults were gone.

Then it might be prudent to ensure that you have a fully serviceable battery fitted to the vehicle, rather than one that discharges itself. There would have been no harm done to the lights etc on the dashboard.
